AFTER SCHOOL
OUR PURPOSE
The After School Academics & Arts Program serves a three-fold purpose:
First, ASAAP strives to provide a safe, high quality, affordable and God honoring academic and arts environment for children.
Second, this program seeks to enhance and improve the family structure, and relieve homework stress.
Third, we provide a learning/work environment for aspiring educators/experts.

Benefits of After School Programs
Time Management and Prioritizing
Extracurricular activities teach children how to manage their time and prioritize various tasks and commitments.
Building Self-Esteem
Mastering new skills can help build confidence in children. By participating in after-school activities, they can build their self-esteem in a relaxed setting as their activities provide the opportunity to be successful in something that they are passionate about.
Teamwork
Sports teams, clubs and activities, like dancing and music, all require children to work together toward a common goal. By participating in these activities, your children develop the skills they need in order to successfully work with others. In addition, extracurricular activities let children to build relationships and socialize with peers who share their interests.

Recent studies show a correlation between improved grades, behavior and work habits as a result of students’ involvement in after-school activities.

Homework Assistance/Help
H-onesty: We expect our students to be honest with us about their assignments. We check newsletters and planners for students Kindergarten-2nd grade. Students 3rd grade and above are responsible for making us aware of their homework assignments.
E-ncourage: We encourage students to do their homework on their own and assist them by identifying incorrect answers. Homework is practice!!! Students will be given the opportunity to complete their homework and then we assist them with corrections. Our classroom teachers monitor and assist, they DO NOT TUTOR! L-earning Environment: We provide an environment that in conducive to learning. We provide supplies needed to complete their assignments and encourage them to maintain a clean and productive work space.

Student's will have an opportunity to complete homework daily. We provide a quiet environment, assistance, and tools to make sure that homework is complete and correct. Please take a moment to review our Homework Policy below.

2023-2024 ASAAP After School Program
TUITION:
Tuition is billed bi-weekly in the amount of $170($85/wk). All accounts will be auto-drafted on scheduled tuition dates through the ProCare Parent Portal. Self-pay is no longer an option. Tuition is paid ONLINE ONLY. No cash or check payments will be accepted on-site.
NON-ATTENDANCE DISCOUNT:
We offer a NON-ATTENDANCE discount if your child is not attending due to illness, holidays, or vacation. This is a $22/wk discount for each week that your child does not attend. (Not to exceed 4 weeks) For example: if your child is absent for one week due to illness, your tuition amount due is $63 that sick week.
OUT-OF-SCHOOL CAMP:
We will offer full-day camps during Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Fall Break and Spring Break at our West, South and Petal (East) Locations for an additional fee.
Should your child not attend out-of-school camp, tuition for that week will be discounted $22/ each week that the student does not attend.
